Protégé Samantha received an embarassing elimination from last night's gala. Her opinion last week that Protégé Denise should have been the one eliminated instead of Protégé Rosalyn made an ironic twist of fate, herself being eliminated instead of Denise. Her throaty singing style is not endearing to the public. Her look on

Protégé of GMA 7 had its first live gala last night. The first one to be booted out of the competition is Rosalyn of Bicol. It was easy to guess. Among all the contestants, she was the only one who remained the same since the beginning. No reinvention in looks and in singing style. Her hand gestures is quiet distracting. When she sings, its easy to see that she's trying sing like Charice.
