Protégé Lovely Embuscado from Davao: Eliminated Protégé Finalists

Mentor Jaya's Protégé Lovely Embuscado from Davao is out of the game by last night's live gala. However, the twist  gives her and the rest of the eliminated contestants a second wind in the contest.

In next week's live gala, they will be pitted against each other and one of them will have a chance to achieve their dream.

SoWat got a beating from the judges. And rightly so. I guess, "the boxer shorts" thing irked the judges the most. I find it very demeaning and downgrading. It technically stripped the judges of their competence as judges with a nonchalant reference to their sexuality. As I've always said, humility is the best policy.  The limelight may be blinding but it is not enough reason to be blinded to other people's sensitivities:)

Nomer out of Protégé. It was a sad moment. I'd rather for Kenneth to go first. The boy has lots of potential. But then again, with him out of the competition means not seeing anymore mentor Rachel's hand carressing this young boy's ears and face, quiet irritating. With Nomer out right after his crush Denise simply means one cannot have "crush" and career at the same time:)

Last November 6, 2011 elimination night got Denise out of the competition. She was quiet lost when host Dingdong Dantes announced her as the losing Protégé. It was very considerate of Ms. Claire de la Fuente to come to her side in the absence of mentor Gloc 9. No shoulder to cry on.

Protégé Samantha received an embarassing elimination from last night's gala. Her opinion last week that Protégé Denise should have been the one eliminated instead of Protégé Rosalyn made an ironic twist of fate, herself being eliminated instead of Denise. Her throaty singing style is not endearing to the public. Her look on that night was a mess. A perfect contrast to the clean and divine look of Denise.

Protégé of GMA 7 had its first live gala last night. The first one to be booted out of the competition is Rosalyn of Bicol. It was easy to guess. Among all the contestants, she was the only one who remained the same since the beginning. No reinvention in looks and in singing style. Her hand gestures is quiet distracting. When she sings, its easy to see that she's trying sing like Charice.
