Lolong, measuring 21 foot is touted to be the biggest (longest) crocodile in captivity. Named after Ernesto "lolong" Goloran Canete, one of the veteran crocodile hunters who led the hunt and who died of heart attack days prior to this crocodile's entrapment in the Agusan Marsh. Lolong now lives in a special cage in the Eco-Park of Bunawan, Agusan Del Sur located at Sitio Masapya, Brgy. Consuelo. Looking at the current "home" of Lolong, whose captivity is justified by securing the lives and safety of the community living within the Agusan Marsh, makes me believe that its not the crocodile that should have been taken out from his natural habitat BUT the people. After all, by definition  a marsh , or morass , is a type of wetland that is subject to frequent or continuous flood.

But, can't blame the President if she keeps it under wraps. Filipinos want their women-leaders straight-cut. No vanities.
