Dealing with the Media

The Aquino administration is hopping from one media blunder to another (and a memo blunder too!).

One, there is an unrationalized expectation, an agitated, excited expectation for this administration to clean the slimes of its predecessor - pronto! (We all know that is not possible.)

Second, people can't make up their mind whether they really want new faces in the government - which means they have to be more considerate for the blunder/s as these "new faces" try to get the ropes in governance or get rid of "old faces" who don't make blunders with the media but you don't want to see on television anymore.

Let us give our new administration a chance to focus on the tasks at hand. Becoming too exacting won't get this country of OURS anywhere.

For the "new faces" don't be overwhelmed with the responsibilities. Take it one task at a time. Ask around. When you become tired and weary... go back to that point in time when hope and inspiration sprung eternal.

We pray that neither this administration nor the media will dash the hopes in every Filipino's heart with the news we are getting.

Hope is all we've got right now...

While not everyone can be leaders, not all leaders have the capability to inspire people to believe that things will get better, to do good for this country in their ordinary, little ways.

While President Aquino is still "cleaning-up the mess," let us nurture that hope and inspiration. Order will come naturally afterwards.

Long live and God bless our President!
