Yesterday's sparring on RH Bill between Rep. Lagman and Rep. Pacquiao was a sight to behold. Not because it was intellectually interesting to listen to... but the interpellation was a breath of fresh air to the usual arrogant debates and illa-mannered behaviors.
Kudos to Rep. Lagman for trying his best not to embarass the boxing icon while the latter was trying hard to argue intelectually.
It was a lopsided show of I.Q. in favor of Rep. Lagman... but he gave Rep. Pacquiao the dignity of his position by being a gentleman on the floor.
If all the honorable members of congress will follow suit, what an inspiration to all of us Filipinos.
The Philippines can surely look forward to a better future.
