Miss World 2013 Megan Young "Dethroned" and other Controversies

The Road to Miss World 2013
Miss World 2013 Megan Young seems to be a controversy magnet nowadays. Prior to her winning the blue crown - the first for the Philippines (second if 1973 Miss World First Runner-Up Evangeline Pascual accepted the crown) she was touted to face disqualification because of her topless photos.
Topless? Bareback is more like it.

One blog commenter Maya Angelu aptly dismisses this as, "It's what women do on the beach when sunbathing to avoid unwanted tan lines so that their backs would look nicely & evenly suntanned when wearing backless gowns."

This photos were actually taken for the Rogue Magazine - a lifestyle and leizure magazine.

Hours after her winning Miss World, Devina Dediva real name Devina Sharma posted derogatory remarks aimed not only to Miss Megan Young but to the whole Filipino race as unprivileged, smelly from cleaning toilets and uneducated.

"Miss Philippines is Miss World? What a joke? I didn't know those maids have anything else in them. Hahaha," Sharma posted on her Twitter account.

Miss Megan Young as National Peace Ambassador
Sharma was an assistant teacher and she reportedly lost her job after the school's superiors, who happened to be Filipinos, learned the news. Moreover, a Filipino named Anthony Benedicto filed a police case in Singapore against Sharma for violating the country's strict law against racism. Sharma is facing a possible jail term of up to three years and a fine not more than $5,000.

Maids? What a joke! The world never knew there was nothing else in you, until you made such comments.
The latest is the news form the Bulgarian Media that Miss Megan Young has been dethroned as Miss World and the new 2013 Miss World is Marine Lorphine of France.

Miss World made an official announcement
that the voting will be through Miss World Apps... where were you?
Miss World Bugaria Nansi Karaboycheva accused Miss World Organisation of vote manipulation by removing the votes from Miss World website and Facebook were Miss Bulgaria Nansi Karaboycheva is leading the scoreboard. According to her, this literally took away her chance to get the People's Choice Award which was given to Miss Guatemala.

The World won't settle for anything less...
It was alleged that the final result was taken through Miss World App where the last leg of the Top 6 was chosen, thus robbing Karaboycheva of her place in the final top 6 of Miss World 2013 pageant in Indonesia. The People's Choice Award went to Miss Gibraltar Maru Karbuch.

It's in the eyes my dear... the eyes being the window of  one's CORE VALUE.
This report is highly untrue as Miss Bulgaria was not even in the Top 20 much more in the Top 6. If there is someone who should be raising hell so to speak is Miss Brazil, Miss Spain or even Miss Ukraine.

Oh My!  While it is true that everybody loves the winner... one loser can't help but be bitter:)
