In a very rare occurence in the history of the Philippines, proclaimed Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri rendered a poignant privilege speech which ended by tendering his resignation from his post.

In view of the recent developments on the alleged electoral fraud and the electoral protest filed against him by Atty. Pimentel, I'd say - SMART MOVE.
